Join us for the 2026 Spooky Sprint 5K!
8:30 AM: Costume Contest & Check-In
9:00 AM: Race Start
Show off your spooky style! Prizes for the best costumes (yes, pets too!) and medals for overall and age group race winners.
Registration Prices:
- Early Registration (August 1 - September 30): $35
- October 1–25: $45 (please note: ticket sales will end at 8:30am on race day)
- Kids (ages 2–10): $20
PLEASE NOTE: As of October 1st, race t-shirts are available in limited quantities and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. If your size vanishes into the night, we cannot guarantee an exact or alternate fit.
Race will take place rain or shine.
All pets must be leashed to keep our ghouls and goblins safe.
Food provided by Scratch Biscuit Company.

Get ready to race! The annual West End Center for Youth Spooky Sprint 5K is back. The race kicks off at 9:00 AM in Wasena Park, and you won't want to miss it. Packet Pick-Up: • Friday, 10/24, 10 AM to 6 PM at RunAbout Sports Roanoke • Saturday, 10/25 (Race Day), 8 AM to 8:30 AM at Wasena Park Bring your A-game and your best costume. Judging will take place before the race, so arrive by 8:30 AM to enter the costume contest. Let's make this race spooktacular!
